We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Meet Our Provider
Tara Spencer, AuD
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Tara Jones Spencer is licensed as an audiologist in the state of Mississippi. She is a native of Corinth, Mississippi, having grown up in Kossuth. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders. She remained at Southern Miss, where she also obtained her Master of Science degree in Audiology. She later earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Spencer is clinically certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
She has worked for Ear, Nose & Throat practices, in addition to the Department of Veterans Affairs
Medical Center. She has almost 20 years of experience identifying, diagnosing, and treating all types and degrees of hearing loss. She specializes in hearing evaluations, hearing aids, cerumen management, and hearing conservation. Dr. Spencer works to stay up-to-date on the latest in research and hearing aid technology. She enjoys developing long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr. Spencer now resides back in Kossuth, Mississippi, with her husband and 3 sons. In her free time, she enjoys reading, attending classic car shows with her grandfather, and spending time with family. She is an active member of Kossuth Baptist Church, where she teaches a youth Sunday School class. Dr. Spencer is a proud survivor of breast cancer.
